All New Ford Kuga - Coming 2012

Ford Australia is excited to be launching the Ford Kuga, which has experienced overwhelming popularity amongst consumers across Europe. Further exemplifying Ford's 'Kinetic Design' styling philosophy, the Ford Kuga delivers impressive on-road driving dynamics with solid AWD capability and features a very high level of standard equipment and interior finishes.

The new impressive looking Ford Kuga certainly has the potential to shake up the other contenders in the increasingly popular compact SUV segment, when it arrives in March, 2012.

Not to be confused with the current looking Escape, this new model SUV is a different model altogether, armed with an abundance of new technologies,
The European-built five-door SUV wears Ford's signature "kinetic" design and is expected to be a popular addition to Ford's Australian vehicle line-up, mixing SUV practicality with sharp driving dynamics that have been designed for adventure both on and off the road.

Ford lovers will be able to choose from two versions of the Ford Kuga: Trend and Titanium. The Kuga Trend will come comprehensively equipped with a generous array of comfort, convenience and safety features. The Titanium has extra focus on premium features and technologies. However, both the Trend and Titanium will be powered by the Volvo developed Duratec five-cylinder turbo petrol engine.

Both versions in the Ford Kuga range will be fitted with a five-speed automatic transmission matched to an intelligent all-wheel drive system, giving drivers that sporty feel as well as sure-footed handling and practical off-road ability.

Economically, on the road, the Ford Kuga will return a generous10.3-litres per 100km travelled.

Ford seems to have the magic touch when it comes to chassis engineering and the Kuga is no exception. Customers will experience a dynamic driving experience and all-road performance thanks to the combination of a MacPherson strut front suspension and Ford's Control Blade multi-link suspension system at the rear.
EPAS - Electric power-assisted steering has been designed to give drivers easy maneuverability and control at speed.

And………..how cool is the panoramic roof? There is so much to like about the Kuga. Although this vehicle is targeted at family starters or young couples who want to get a bit more adventurous at the weekends, there is nothing stopping this old cougar doing the same!
